Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By accessing or using the Wedshots website, mobile site or any related services (collectively, the “Service”) you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

2. Who we are

Wedshots (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a trading name of Wedshots Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (Company No. 14999999).

3. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract.
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms.

4. Plans, Pricing & Payments

The Service is sold per event in three tiers: Silver (£14.99), Gold (£29.99) and Platinum (£49.99), exclusive of UK VAT unless otherwise stated.
Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.
All fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated.
Optional storage extensions are billed monthly (£1.99) or yearly (£14.99) and can be cancelled any time before the next billing cycle.

5. Storage Windows & Data Retention

Photos, videos and guestbook messages (“User Content”) are hosted for the duration included with your tier:

Silver - 6 months
Gold - 12 months
Platinum - 24 months

If no extension is purchased, User Content is permanently deleted 30 days after the storage window ends. Back-ups are purged on a 30-day rolling cycle.

6. User Content & Moderation

You retain all rights in your User Content but grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute it as needed to provide the Service.
We use automated tools and human reviewers to moderate uploads. We may remove or blur content that is unlawful, hateful, pornographic or otherwise violates these Terms.
You represent that you have all necessary rights to upload the content and that it does not infringe any third-party rights.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Upload viruses, malicious code or attempt to probe or break the Service.
Post content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing or discriminatory.
Reverse-engineer, decompile or copy any part of the Service.
Use the Service for commercial events without our prior written consent.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all software, trademarks and branding, is our exclusive property or that of our licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership rights to you.

9. Feedback

Any feedback or suggestions you provide may be used by us without obligation or compensation to you.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, all licences granted to you end immediately.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claims arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against any losses, costs or damages arising from your breach of these Terms or your User Content.

14. Changes to the Service & these Terms

We may update the Service or these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via e-mail or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers resident in the EU may bring claims in their home jurisdiction.
